I have played on Storium before, but only with one group and they prefer to keep those games private. In lieu of links to past games, I’ll say a few things about myself. I’ve been gaming for a long time, but my online/text-based gaming has almost all been with one group of friends. They’re amazing, but things have died down as people’s lives change. I’m looking to experiment with Storium to find a creative outlet to replace that game. Most of my experience has been in games with a dark tone and very little content restriction. I believe I’d be able to game within any set of boundaries, as long as they were clear to me. I don’t like causing problems for people, and I understand that any restrictions on such things would be there for a reason. I have less confidence in my ability to keep to a tone that I’m not used to, but I’m willing to give it a try if you’re willing to let me. It could be a lot of fun, and would probably be good exercise. I’m not a great writer, but I think I won’t drag most games down. My main faults are probably wordiness and occasionally getting attached to strange/awkward phrases. Finally, I realize that being a part of a game is a commitment and that it shouldn’t be ignored or dropped for convenience. Real life comes first, but I do plan to participate consistently in any game that I join. |
