1. Third person narrative please and please use past tense (e.g. John jumped into the pool. Tracy laughed at him.)

2. Please only write about your character. You can interact with other characters and NPC’s but please try your best not speak for them or write about their physical reactions to your dialogue or actions. E.g. “Will asked Betty to follow him. She nodded and jumped off the cliff with him.” - this is not allowed, please let Betty make her own decisions or ask Betty outside of the Game if she would like to yeet herself off a cliff with you. Perhaps try “Will jumped off the cliff and stuck the landing. Will looked up and waved Betty to come along.”

3. Try your best to be active, at least one move per week please - If for any reason you cannot meet the pace, please let me know.

Setting

The game is set on Budaya Village Resort; a generic South East Asian rainforest resort, so dress for warm weather! So picture the typical chalets, beach, and rainforest backdrop.

You are all playing human characters, so please keep all actions grounded. No laser vision or skydiving to the rescue, unfortunately! The story is set in modern day, so yes you will have access to modern technology (but I cannot guarantee good cell reception out here in the jungle).

Character Creation

Blurb/Description:
Shed some light on your character’s backstory here. Be as in-depth as you want, the floor is yours!

Nature Card:
In this game, I will be prepping some cards for you to choose from. These will be job roles within the group. Just choose the job role that appeals to you most - and perhaps give more description in your character’s backstory; e.g. how did you come to do this role? Is this the peak of your career? etc.

note: this is a non-exhaustive list. I just wanted to give you a selection of roles. If you think of another role that would fit the team, feel free to make your own Nature cards. Or if your desired role has already been taken, I’m more than happy to brainstorm an alternative with you. Don’t let this part stop you from creating your character :D

Strength Card:
There is an example for you, but do try to create your own Strength Card. What positive attributes does your character have?

Weakness Card:
There is an example for you, but do try to create your own Weakness Card. What negative attributes does your character have?

Sub-Plot Card:
There is an example for you, but do try to create your own Sub-Plot Card. What overarching goal would your character like to achieve? This tends to be individual-character driven. Are they looking to be the Next Big Thing? Are they after their fifteen minutes of fame? Are they after The Perfect Shot?
