All was well, they thought as they sent their children to Hogwarts. All was well; after all, Lord Voldemort and his followers had been gone for nineteen years now. All was well… wasn’t it?
A Harry Potter next generation stor. Generally light-hearted, but will involve some darker themes as the story progresses.
Narrated by: Lyra (and the others, but Lyra’s in charge of this one!)

License: Host License
Host’s rules: none specified
- Third person, past tense
E.g. “He saw the dog” instead of “I see the dog”
- Don’t write what other characters say or do
If you discuss with the player, this is fine. Note: this rule also applies to host-created NPCs.
- Keep conflicts between characters
Be polite to each other; we’re here to have fun :)
Note: This game is listed as host-licenced, but the narrator will not use any material you have created without permission.
2nd note: Since this account is not a paid Storium member (a.k.a. membership will expire in June), we will only take three characters to ensure that the game can continue even after the free membership ends. However, if there are many more applicants, we may consider taking in some lighter characters that will be retired by the end of June if the game hasn’t ended before then. If you absolutely don’t want that, tell us in the character comments!
Info for invitees and applicants: none specified
Your characters should all be students at Hogwarts. Anywhere between 11 and 17 is fine, but please take into account that the characters need to be able to interact with students that are much younger/older.
Since this is the next generation of Harry Potter, you can make characters that are children of some canon (=book) characters. If you really want to, you can even make one of the canonical next-gen. children. However, you can also create characters that have nothing to do with the book characters!
For the character’s background, a minimum of one paragraph would be great; however, we are more likely to choose characters that have more information. If there is anything you would like to keep as a secret from other players, feel free to tell in the comments.
In general, there are no strict requirements for your characters. However, we’d like to know at least a bit about their personality, family, interests etc. Also, a more fleshed out background can help a lot when writing in the actual game! You may create subheadlines for different areas, or you may write a continuous text, whichever you prefer.
